I was moving old woods out of the way so the cat I'm babysitting can go outside and play and won't use woods to climb out of the fence surrounding the backyard. As I moved the old wood to the other side, I jumped back once I saw the hive. But the most interesting is that the wasps did not fly out of its hive. I took a closer look and realized that they are dead. They have never made it out alive. I used macro settings to get a close up shot. Here's images below:
