EGE proudly host the Red Carpet Premiere of Hard Man

Evelina Gaina Entertainment (EGE) invites you to our 3rd annual Red Carpet event!

This will be ASL Films’ 7th full-length film release, and the Red Carpet event will bring the Deaf community together again for another glamorous Hollywood experience. ASL Films will premiere the film “Hard Man” acted by our well-known entertainer Andrew Vasnick, who also acted in “Gerald.” The Red Carpet event will bring the Deaf community together again for another glamorous Hollywood experience.

In December of 2010, EGE coordinated the first ever Red Carpet event for ASL Films’ 5^th release of the full-length thriller Black Sand at The Vine Theater in Hollywood. It was a huge success with 700 attendees. This past year ASL Films released its 6^th full-length comedy Versa Effect, featuring our well-known Deaf entertainers Rosa Lee Timm (The Rosa Lee Show) and Russell Harvard (The Hammer and There Will Be Blood). It was held at the Harmony Gold Theater in Hollywood with over 700 in attendance.  We have included a news link about the event for your viewing: Black Sand Red Carpet & Versa Effect Red Carpet. We would like your help to make this exciting event happen again, especially when it means bringing together the Deaf community and celebrating American Sign Language.

We will be hosting the event at Hollywood’s legendary Egyptian Theater, where the first release of the See What I'm Saying documentary was shown with an estimated attendance of 700 movie watchers. After the film premiere, ASL Films will be touring across the country visiting various Deaf communities to show the film.

The Red Carpet event will bring our Deaf community together at this glamorous Hollywood moment! The film will entertain our patrons and our Deaf community with our beautiful American Sign Language. This is the perfect opportunity for our Deaf film industry to move up to a significant level just like a Hollywood Red Carpet premiere!

This Red Carpet event will be held on Sunday, September 16, 2012 at the Egyptian Theater, 6712 Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood, CA.

The Red Carpet Ticket:

·      Early Bird Special - $50/person (Tickets purchased before July 8)

·      Regular Price - $65/person  (Tickets purchased from July 9 to Sept. 16)

The Red Carpet Program Schedule:

·      Red Carpet:                                    2:00-3:00 pm

·      Film Showing:                               3:30-5:00 pm

·      Hors D’oeuvres & Wine:               5:00-11:00 pm

*The attire for the evening event is formal

Tickets will be picked up at the “Will Call” table outside of the theatre on the day of the event starting at 12 pm for the 2 pm Red Carpet event. No tickets will be mailed out. Last year ASL Films "Versa Effect" Red Carpet event sold out 3 weeks prior the event, so it is best to buy your tickets today!  It’s going to be a wonderful night where the spotlight shines on our Deaf Community: Together we can make it happen!
